The Sunday Ring

The Sunday Ring was inspired by a stone I have wanted to work with since I first began making fine jewelry. Orange sapphires have always captivated me because they are bright, warm, and full of energy. When I sourced this vivid emerald-cut sapphire from New York City’s Diamond District, I knew it was time to finally bring that vision to life.

At 1.10 carats, the sapphire glows with a fiery brilliance that feels like sunlight captured in stone. The gem is bezel set in 14k yellow gold, with open windows on all four sides that allows light to flood the stone and amplify its vibrant sparkle.

Flanking the sapphire are two geometric gold triangles, subtle accents that frame the stone and give the design its distinctive Art Deco influence. The clean lines and architectural shapes create a balance between vintage inspiration and modern simplicity.
